Welcome

We are the Banneker Ballroom Dance Club of Washington, DC. We are a 501(c)(3) organization.

Our Club is one that specializes in a variety of American and International dance styles. The dances we currently teach are: Waltz, Foxtrot, American Tango, East Coast Swing, Cha-cha, Rumba, Salsa, and Merengue.

For over 60 years we have held dance classes, and danced together as friends, and as a family. Many of our members have been with Banneker for years, while others have just arrived in our community. Some are old, some are new, but each member is equally special.

Everyone is welcomed to Banneker Ballroom dance Club with or without a partner. The Club is in session September – June and meets every Tuesday at the National Association of USA Letter Carriers, AFL-CIO Capitol Branch #142, The Express Lounge, 6310 Chillum Place NW Washington DC 20011.
